hey. i just got this truck and i already want to mod it. ill be getting about 1g to spend on my truck soon and i was wondering, besides the normal tuneup stuff what should i spend it on? maybe 14bff? help me out. thanks. maybe a soft top? new suspension springs, because it currently rides like a dump truck adn has no flex with 6" blocks in the rear

send it to me and i can spend it for you :D

Not too sure what you need for it. Leper brings up a good point. What are your plans?

i want a weekend offroad vehicle that can handle alot of power and abuse but be my daily driver

Good luck with that

Everytime I try driving mine on the street something breaks.

Anyway, I'd go with the steering box brace, and ditch the rear 6" blocks for a shackle flip. After that it just becomes personal preference and depends on how hardcore of a wheeler you are. Mud, rocks, what?

Buy a gun

Get yourself a concealed-carry permit and get yourself a high-quality reliable handgun and spend some time at the range learning how to use it well. All that will cost you about $1,000. If you've already done all that, have night sights and a laser grip put on your gun, buy some more ammunition and spend more time at the range getting it sighted in. If you're secure in your marital relationship, then teach your wife to shoot.

Im sure he would have posted this in the shooting range if he wanted to talk guns.

I bought a whole truck for $800, I took the 60/14ff and parted out the rest.

You should get the frame braces first.

HAHAHAHAH... Dont go robbing this guy! LMAO... You say you wanna buy Truck parts and all this guys hears is MONEY FOR MORE GUNS!!!!! lmao:haha::haha::haha:

If I were you I'd invest into a Junked K30 if you have room for a parts truck. They can be found for around what you've got to spend and the dana60 front will be worth that alone. Plus you'll have a 14bolt with matching gears and a solid transfercase and tranny. Plus tons of spare parts. All that little stuff adds up and a good parts truck can be a life saver. Dont burn the 1000 on bling parts.

where do i get frame braces from? what are they needed for. im new to the 4x4 scene kind of. i know a little but not all. im just coming off the street scene type deal. is there a thread that has noob stuff haha.

I like the way USER thinks, but I think the 1 Ton for a parts truck would be a better deal for now. I know I'm kinda keeping my eye out for a K30 parts truck myself.
