10b ratio teeth count.

anybody know the teeth counts or where to get em for gear ratios on a 10B?


I have chrome diff covers f and r and i want to find out if they did anything while they had em open.

just pop the cover, count the ring gear teeth and divide by the pinion teeth. I think the count would be 41/10 for 4.10s and whatever else for the rest. Another way is that the tooth count will be on the ring gear. Spin it around and wipe it off with a rag, when you see some numbers, read them till you find two that look about right (something like the 41 10 I noted). Not ALL ring gears have these numbers but almost all do.

i think its much easier to find the stamped number than to count the teeth. i hate counting
