10B rear carrier ??

Ok I am about to do a trade with a friend on here and the problem is he has 30 spline rear and the carrier I have is a 28 spline what would have to be done for to be able to use the 28 spline rear in his housing??

Would he just need the shafts the come with the 28 spline carrier?

Yes , he needs the shafts . The hole in the carrier is bigger , and the bearings accomodate the bigger hole while still fitting any 10 bolt housing by having the outer race size the same .

You go up in spline count , you go up in diameter for the most part .

so as long as i give him everything that came out of the housing it will be fine ?
