Will they inter change?? I mean I know the TRE's are different but could I drill out my 10B knuckles to fit the 1 ton ones?? Just wondering if the width is the same as far as tie rod length. Dont really want to spend money on the 10B :)

TRE's should be the same as far as the taper goes. I don't know if the length is the same.

If you do a search i know someone recently mentioned that the D60 tie rod was shorter than a 10 bolt. If you have a 10 bolt (which i believe from what you said you do) but have a tie rod from a D60 then no it won't work, but if you have a D60 but have a 10 bolt tie rod then you can cut it to length and retap one end and it will work.

well here is the deal, I want to make a super beefy tie rod but dont really want to waste the time/money if it wont work when I get a D60.

If you get a fancy beefy tie-rod for the 10B and then move up to a D60 you just cut and re-tap the RH end to the proper length.

10b tie rod is around 60" TRE pin to TRE pin. d60 tie rod is about 56" pin to pin. As previously stated, if you want to make one go from a 10b to a d60, make it for the 10b and then cut it off and rethread it when you go to the 60.
