Found 10bolt (front) inner/outer axle shafts

I need the inner&outer axle shafts for the drivers side for an 1978 k5, if anyone happens to have them?
I been checking Craigslist and normally i can find a whole axle for less than $100 until I need it of course.
I have not pulled it yet but im pretty certain it's original axle...

Wouldn't a 1978 have a D44 in the front?

77 started the transition process to the 10 bolt. Think some 78's had 44's though.

my 77 chassy has a d44 in it, it is cast on the housing

Some 77's & 78's had d44's but I always seem to get one with a 10bolt.... not purposely, just how it works out.

Hey I just got lucky when I stopped at a house to ask about axles. I just left with a 14FF/10bolt 8 lug for $300.

You know your probably right! If this goes like my last build I didn't find a Dana 60 for front till about 4 years later that was within budget.
