I came across this winch on ebay for $299 plus $60 shipping, ive compared all the internals to Warn and Ramsey and everything seems to be the same, the Hp is actually higher on this winch. They claim it comes with a solid 2 year warranty. I was wondering if anybody had ever heard of it or knew anything about it as i cant or will ever be able to afford a $700 + winch and this will be the best i could probably do. Here is the Ebay link to the winch...

I was thinking about buying one of those myself.. but the guys on here were pretty helpfull in telling me not to get it cause its a chinese piece of ****e... so there ya go.

looking for a used warn atm for myself, suggest you do the same and play the waiting game. been a few warn 8274 used for $350 on ebay:D

Thanks alot guys, im not sure what ill wind up doin, i may look into the ebay one alittle more, i dunno, i just cant afford what they want for the Warn winches

When people say "it's just Chinese ****" I'm not sure they realize how much of the stuff they buy is made in China. I'm not saying it's good or bad, it's just that being made in China doesn't make it crap, it all depends on which factory, who was ordering and supervising the production, quality control, and who stands behind the warranty. I'd rather buy US, but for some people it's not an option. The Parker plasma cutter is a good example of how a chinese made product can be a good purchase, but there's also thousands of examples of other bad purchases. Just my opinion.

Point taken, but aside from T-Max (which are primarily made in China, not Australia) the Chinese winches are crap.

im sold on it. look at the guys feedback! 3 bad post out of 100? damn thats pretty good. 12 months = 1589 total 33 bad posts! thats insane. worse comes to worse i can just use it on the trailer to pull cars up on.

I dont know anything about winches but I doubt everyone used theirs too many times before posting feedback.

Hey whatever, cheap deal so its not the end of the world if it dont pull my truck. 2 year warrenty sounds pretty good though. ill probly order one when i get back from a short vacation the beginning of sept. i know that a 3500lb winch will pull just bout anything i need up on the car trailer so i have plenty of use for it. Only one way to find out how good or bad it works. ill let you know.

Yea thats what i was thinking, the 2 year warrenty sounds like a descent enough idea to give it a try, im thinking of getting the 12500 and if its junk ill just cut my losses, but i know plenty of guys with Warn 9500 and 12500 that seem to have alot of problems with the motors burning up.

I bought one! 350 Shipped to my door. havent have need to use it yet though. gona be cutting some trees down at my buddies house and we'll use it there. i wired it up works fine. spools in and out. ill keep you posted! on a side note i went wheeling this past weekend and didnt have to use it at all! lol i built my blazer too good i guess!

I am also looking for a winch. I just bought my bumper and i cant afford a warn. I want at least a 9000. so let us know how it does.....

Ok for those that wana know! I finally got a chance to use the winch and it worked flawless. We were clearing some trees on a 40-50ft embankment, and winching the trees up hill and cutting them up. winched for bout 3-4hrs straight and had no problems:bow:. Great Buy! $350.00 shipped to my door.
Heck i drug my blazer over the wheel chocks at one point, and it was in granny gear with the ebrake on! and the wheel chocks are the big heavy duty ones that they use on the fire trucks! it maynot be as fast of line speed as a warn winch, not sure never seen how fast the 12000lb warn works. i thought i had good line speed though!

if I didn't win the Ramsey 12000 pounder at BB05 , I would probably be buying one of those because of the price , and the fact a local shop I know guys at sells the same thing under another name .

Since its cheaper , you can save weight and buy synthetic rope now :thumb:
