I am looking to upgrade my rearend to a 14 bolt 1 ton and I was wondering if you guys might be able to tell me if i could use the 12bolts axles in the 14 bolt. The 14 has and 8 lug and the 12 a 6 lug. is it feasible ???? I really don't want to have to buy new rims is the main reason......

Nope totally different style and size of shaft between the two housings.

No. The only real way to get a 6 lug 14blt is to use adapter wheel spacers(not exactly safe) OR to use the 14blt semi floating axle out of like 88-95 light duty 3/4 ton pickups.
