12 bolt axle shaft markings

I picked up a D44 and 12 bolt for spare parts a couple of weeks ago. When I pulled the 12 bolt shafts out I noticed that each one had 4360 stamped on the flange. As far as the PO knows they were just the stock shafts. Did I just get really lucky and get a set of chromoly shafts really cheap or is this the normal marking on the end of a 12 bolt shaft?
