I was just wondering what size line is on a 12 bolt, what type of fitting it is, and what kind of flaring. Double flared? Can I buy unmade brake line at a parts store? I'm looking at plumbing in my line locks, just want to get a few things figured out.

Also, about how much gear oil will one of them take? Thanks.

I don't know the size , but it is the same as 10 bolts too . I don't know if this helps , but maybe have them pull a rear wheel cylider off the shelf and you can see which hardline threads into it :dunno:

I have reused my 10 bolt brakes on my 12 bolt . Have flared the end when I munched the threds , but can't remember the size I used was 3 years ago .

That might be a good idea. Only reason I'm asking is I don't have a parts guy I can trust anymore. It's sad who can get a job at these places now, everythings in the computer and they don't know jack.

My truck isn't exactly a creature that they would have in a database either....
