A friend is looking for a 12 bolt carrier with gear for a 1992 3/4 ton P/U. 3.73 ratio. Cheap as possible. Dont have too many other details, but I can ask.

I don't have the axles in front of me so i am asking this, is the axle semi floating or full floating?
The axle obviously is a 14bolt cover.

It is the semi-floating. He told me it was a 12 bolt. I think they are different from the older ones, but Im not positive on that one. He told me the center pin broke, so it locks up going forward, reverse is marginal. He cannot get just a carrier, as everyone wants to sell him the whole axle.

I have a carrier for that axle, it's the GOV LOC carrier $75 plus shipping.
I probably can do this $100 shipped.
I could also replace my open diff with this carrier and sell you the open diff carrier if that is what you want.
