12 bolt cover on a 5 lug axle

Like it says in title, I have one of these and can someone tell me if its crap or can some musclecar have use for it, someone quoted me $300.00 for this and I think it doesn't sound right, so some opinions from the big guys here.
Is it really worth that much.
It came from a 1976 K5 4X2...

its not worth unless it was car 12 bolt, they quit making them in 72

its worth maybe 50 bucks at most if not posi and not 3.73 or 3.40

Those are in all the old trucks. Like the other guy sadi it could be used in a Blazer or truck but not a car. Different mounts. You could but it would be work. You could use it in a 4x4 if you swapped the shafts.
