Who has the best cover at the best price ? Everyone I liked went out of business , and everyone online wants an arm and a leg for a cover I'll kill .

Is bluetorch any good ?

I need to rethink these plated stock covers . Seems the mounting flange is too thin , and if you come down just right you can peel it up from dropping straight down . Broke a bolt too :doah: , but its gonna come out easy .

Man the wheeling gets harder too quick in the AZ :wink1:

Mailbox full , I paged him my number , maybe he will call back . If no 12 bolt , I will just search out until I find one with a thick mounting flange . ****** rocks aren't agreeing with my covers

ditto on checking with gravel maker, he had a post about week ago asking for someone to send him a cover to make

On phone now , nice guy . Giving me some pointers on what I can do until some covers are available . He is 3 weeks out on some covers for testing . He needs an ARB guy for testing . Anyone want to send me an ARB and a compressor :wink1:

I think BTF is about it. I had one of theirs on my 12-bolt; super beefy. I didn't like the 12-point bolts included, I bought my own allenhead type bolts. I also found that I had to follow a specific procedure to get it sealed good. The bolt holes are very close to the welds.

The Superlift rock ring is the only other thing I've found: http://www.central4wd.com/category.aspx?page=id%7C34099:dunno:

When I still had the 12bolt, I was trying to talk Kert into making a cover for the 12bolt; I pointed out that BTF was really the only alternative currently. He said there were a couple of other axles he wanted to do first.

Nice , but I don't have any "stock" covers to put that over . I have 2 plated , wavy , hammered on , beat up and repounded seal it with silicone only covers that peel up each trip !!

Get ahold of Andrew & see if he still has his old 12 bolt cover. It was 1/2" plate. You might be able to get a rockring for the 12 bolt front someone. I bought a 14bff build your own kit from DIY & used the metal ring as a rockring to stop peeling my stock flanges. Since I have installed the 3/8" ring it has not peeled a cover off.

Andrew may be able to machine you a rockring.
