12 bolt help

ok this is my first time trying to take apart a 12 rear end and can not get the c-clips to come out. Tried 2 screwdriver one on each side but would not come off. Help plz

If you have the rear jacked up, after you take out the locking pin bolt and remove the big rod going through the center. Push the axle in towards the diff, and they will fall out. I just took mine apart last night.

Yeah Yeah what he said, lol. Make sure when you put them back in with the open part of the "c" facing you. And don't spin the axles with that center pin or your spider gears will fall out.
