hey all.. im new to the fourm so im not sure if theres a thread for this or not already.. so heres the story, ive got an 86 k5 7 inches lift and 39.5 under it. today i swaped in a 74 12 bolt 6lug rear and now the stock u-joint is to big to fit the yoke.. if anybody knows what is the conversion u-joint from the stock 10 bolt driveshaft to fit the 12 it would be useful info because im kinda stuck at my shop with my wheels in the air.... thx in advance!

I thought the 10 bolt and 12 bolt used the same U Joint. Have you done a search for conversion joint? Try the search botton! Good luck!

yeah thats what i thought too! lol but it take smaller caps in the 12 idk if it has a differant yoke on it or what the deal is...

victory! i found the one that fits its a neapco 3-3130. two caps with the inner c-clips and two smaller ones for the outside snap ring.. thx all for the help again i get to go home and shower now! lol

Yeah it's a misconception but the 12 bolt uses 1310
the 10 bolts use 1330
14 bolts use 1350.

10 bolts use s44 ( old moniker ) / 3r ( new moniker ) . 1330 just won't fit right .

12 bolts use 1310 for sure .

There is an application where you could get a 12 bolt or a 10 bolt with a 1350 , its trucks with a 4 speed manual , many had the 1350 yoke ....... but not all .
