What options are there for the rear end of my Blazer with a 12 bolt, as far as traction aiding devices are concerned?

After getting the tip to research an Aussie locker for the front, it has me thinking about LSD for the rear, and a lunchbox for the front. I am thinking that a Detroit is about the only option for the 12 bolt as far as a true locker. Any others ?

I do not think I will ever go above a 35-36 inch tire, and low speed rock crawling and general dry land off roading.

Tried and trail tested , actual honest to goodness Lockright by Powertrax ( now Richmond Gear ) .

Marv Springer ran one for about a decade before it wore out . I have just about four years on mine now . I have have never hurt the Lockright with 33's and 35's .

DO NOT BUY A QUIC LOC < THEY DIE FAST > for some unknown metalurgical reason .

Neat thing is your going to reuse your existing stuff if your an open axle , nogear set up :pimp:

Do you have an open diff or a gov-lok in there now?

If you have an open diff get the lockright. Make sure you carry spares ;)

If you can afford it, pay a little extra for the Powertrax locker. It's pretty smooth locker for the lunch box type.

Powertrax - #: 92-0788-3005
Lock-Right - #: LR1910

Lincoln.

I figure it'll last until I'm ready to go tons.:D
