12 bolt Question

Is it even worth upgrading to a 12bolt from a corporate 10bolt? i wanna stay 6 lug and want to do it cheap... Im also only planing or running 35s and i want to lock it. Or would it just be easier to lock the 10bolt and regear?

The only reason to move to a 12 bolt from a 10 bolt is :

You got a matched set of the right gear axles

OR

You blew up your 10 bolt Gov Loc .

If your current gears are fine , and shes open , lock it and wheel 35's until you break something
