12 Inch air filter assembly

Im looking for just a plain open chrome air filter assembly for a 12 inch. I cant seem to find one to save my life. Iv looked on summit, jegs, autozone, checker, advanced you name it. Where do I find one? It wouldn't be so bad bumping up to a 14 inch but I have 2 bran new air filters allready.

Try checking e-bay. I don't know where else to find one. It seems that most have moved to the 14 inch these days.

Well it was worth a try, I will do a little searching and see what I can find.

Boy, I think you might be better off getting a 14" and modifying it (read: cutting it down) to fit the 12". Doesn't seem like there are many options available to fit those filters. Just out of curiosity, what is the diameter of the stock filter? Seems like you might be able to use a stock housing.

Stock air filter is a 12x8 inch. I think thats what your asking. Thank you very much I appreciate you looking.

Well what I was thinking is maybe using a stock housing that is the round style 12" and using your filters there. Just an idea, hope you find what you need.

Yaa, I have thought of that before, but I found the open style for a 14 inch, I figure they made one for 12. Guess I was wrong.
