I've spent time this evening looking at selectable lockers for a 3/4 ton 14Bolt 10.5" out of a 76 truck. From what I've found, only ARB makes a selectable locker for this rear end? I didn't look at Auburn, but Grizzly, OX and Eaton don't? Really???

ARB is the only selectable locker option for a 14 bolt, until ~5 years ago there was nothing.

I wouldn't choose any other anyway, but any particular reason that's not something you want?

No reason for not going with ARB. Just doing research and looking at all my options for selectable lockers. Looking at cost, reliability and durability. I know ARB meets the last two, but yeah, a little pricey. Since I live in CO (snow, ice&mud), I'm not convinced that a mechanical locker (ie Detroit) is a good idea. I think I'd rather have the stock open diff. or a selectable locker.

Last night my options narrowed down to ARB as I found out that they are the only ones that make a selectable locker for the GM 10.5" 14bolt. The demand must not be there to justify the production of the units.

OX, Eaton and ARB all make sel. lockers for D44 which is what's going up front.
