is a van 14 bolt the same as a trucks

I thought the only difference was the perch placement. I might be wrong though, as I've never actually checked.

Nope, they're wider, and probably have different spring perch width (remember the trucks have two kinds) and shock mounting is a big ?

would it make much of a diffrence to run one in a truck with it being wider, would it look wierd or just look like i have wide wheels and how much wider r they

nevermind the vans are suppose to be 70'' from wheel mounting surface to wheel surface and the truck ones r just 67'' so it wont make to much of a diffrence or i could jst get diffrent back spacing on my wheels

a van 14 bolt should be the same width as the front axles, why alot of guys run them. id love to find one.

srw = single rear wheel

drw = duel rear wheel

c&c = cab and chassie like flatbed or box truck vary narrow. try bleading brakes the springs are so close.

perch = spring mounting pad


and i have a van rear and its 70" wide the dana 60 srw is 69" wide.

the widest rear is a drw non c&c dana 70hd then swap on srw hubs this brings it out even more. then use a drw dana 60 front . this whole setup lets you run h1 non recentered rims and same trac width basicly.
