14 bolt bearings and turning rotors

so i need to turn the rotors I just installed on the rear 14bolt hubs. do you take out both bearings, or leave the outer one in so the rotor machine has something to catch, other than the outside of the hub that may not be machined perfect? what have you done?
 
for those who need to know or care, I left the outer bearing in, and it worked great. boy they needed turning! why doesnt' anyone mention machining them when putting them on? I woulda been pissed if i had put them on and driven it with them wobbling. :eek1:
 
i have run a few sets like that and never had to cut them new.

i work auto mechanic job all day 5 days a week. i slap them on new and clean the oil off and run them. no problems . 1-500 might give me a problem. at most my problems are the dee ta dee parts guys.
