Im tryin to find the cady calipers and no luck i work at a parts store and i cant find them any info z?

Just use normal front 3/4 ton chevy stuff.

The caddy deal seems real good on the surface but doesn't work out in the end. They are hard to find also from what I understand

Most of the time when converting to rear discs you get rid of the parking brake.

For a trail use only parking brake you can install line locks.

The caddy caliper idea came about to try to keep the parking brake and have rear discs at the same time. I think you will find that most of the time the parking brake part never worked right or at all and most guys just spent a bunch of time and money for a worthless feture on their trucks.

If you search the garage section here you will find countless posts on the Caddy calipers, parking brakes and line locks.

I agree. At best I've seen guys that have gotten them to work a little while, but I have yet to hear of long term success.

Ruffstuff Specialties is working on developing an alternative. There's a thread in the vendors forum, title something like "Does this give you any ideas"

Some guys have done pinion brakes. Haven't heard much good or bad on those. :dunno:
