I have 2 14bolt dually rears at my shop and i was wondering if i could convert these to run single wheels?? what parts would i need to do this??

You will need everything from the backing plates out AFAIK. I do know the axle shafts are the same so it is possible.

i need these parts (backing plate, etc) from a single wheel 14 bolt right?? ill have to see if i can scrounge up some parts.

SRW 14 bolt parts will not work on a dually 14 bolt (assuming this is a Cab and Chassis axle). Axleshafts I think are the same, but where the backing plate bolts on is totally different spot and the axle itself is much narrower.

cant you just put on the single wheel rims and see if thay fit.

yea ill see if i can borrow some 8 lug rims from my pop and see if they fit. i guess im better off finding a single wheel 14 bolt though because the brakes arent on the axles i have. all i have are the bare axles with now brakes on them. my dad has them on his truck now
