14 bolt FF ID and parts

10 / 41 agree, 4.10’s.
That diff is a Dana Power Lock. Technically, it’s a limited slip but they are very strong. Be sure and put L/S additive when you refill it.

You scored. That’s a Powr Lok installed in there. Modified positraction unit that uses Belleville washers and the tension is ramp released

If you decide not to use that power lock, I’m pretty sure I can get you a buyer

Thanks for the good news, just went and counted, they are 30 spline.

Were 68-72 truck springs more inboard on the axle than 73+? The perches I took off were too far inboard, so trying to figure it if it came from a 1 ton or 3/4 ton. It’s been a real pain in the rear getting all the right brake parts given nobody seems to stock the older stuff anymore. Finally got the correct wheel seals. I’ve ordered 2 different sets of wheel cylinders and they come in not matching (fully) the description. The larger 9/16-24 brake line being the primary issue. I reworked one side today (sanding the bore), had to drill out the bleed screw and use an extractor to get it out. Started on the other side…. Brake shoes I picked up were right width but were physically larger when I went mount them. NAPA thinks they have the right ones ID’ed, be here Wed. The diff cover looks sweet installed at least .
