14 bolt FF leak

I just reinstalled my pinion support on my 14 bolt with no rtv just shims. Now it leaks between the two surfaces. I know your not suposed to us rtv there, but how do you get it not to leak?

I just cleaned up the outside of it with brake clean/ wire brush, and RTV'd along the outside. Held up for me.

I did the same thing as FWP, but I also put silicone on the bolts when I installed them.

I sprayed my shims with Permatex's High-Tac spray.
