Today i have a nice used 4.10 posi carrier with good used 4.10 ratio 14bolt gm gears on it. I will put this unit in a 5 gallon bucket..and ship it lower 48 for $275 total. I do have paypal, I am 88MCLS on ebay..100% feedback there.. sold several thing on here too. look at pics ,you can see the clutches in the holes.

This unit was removed from a 1980 3/4 suburban 14 bolt FF rear axle.

and besides that, the price alone i could easily go buy a complete rear diff of either open, or "Gov-loc'd" models for about $100 less, hell i only paid $100 for the one i currently have,,, with the same type of "Gov-Loc":laugh:

If you are knocking my price and not interested..Then why say something? This is a hard to find unit..for a 1980 model..and i can ship it this way..Shipping is going to be about 125 of it..due to weight and ups high shipping costs. so 150 for the parts and 125 to ship is why it is 275..

I would like and see you find a 4.10 ring and pinion for nothing too.

I would like to find a locker 14FF for $100..and so would a lot of others on here..

Yeah, weight is the big factor here and with todays shipping quotes, they can get a little spendy.

Not knocking you or anything but the Gov-lock isn't exactly a highly sought after "locking" type differential. I've tried selling some in the past and never had luck. Most of them ended up in the scrap pile where I made my recovery from the scrap yards........by combining a lot more metal to make up the weight and loss.

Bumping this back to the top for you and good luck. Hope you find the right buyer. :waytogo:

Another thing 70BlazerX2 should do is to just list the parts prices alone and not the shipping quote added to it.

All shipping quotes will be different regardless where the potential buyer is from.

Would it be fair to a buyer if he lived only 50 miles away from the seller and had to pay the buyers asking price of $125 for shipping when it may only cost a fraction of that cost?

If a potential buyer lived way across the country from the seller, and he went ahead and paid the $125 shipping quote, would it be fair to the seller to ask for more money when he finds out the shipping fee came out a little more than $125?

Both ideas here to ponder. This is why I never list a set shipping quote for large and heavy items. Quotes will always be different to someone closer and further away. Best thing to do is just list an asking price for the parts and say shipping is on the buyers dime. Then you just have to get a quote with the box size and weight along with the zip code.

Its that simple. Then the buyer will be much happier paying the shipping fee and have a peace of mind knowing the seller isn't gonna pocket any more than the actual shipping quote. Its only fair this way.
