14 bolt mini-spool?

I have been told in the past that there is no such thing as a mini- spool for a 10.5" 14 bolt, but was on evil-bay tonight and found a couple. Is there such a thing or should i just go ahead and order a full spool??

a full spool is stronger i just had a buddie build me a spider ball sme thing as a mini spool in te long run but im not gonna leave it in as im gonna fix my detroit

If you are going to get a mini spool, and own a welder, just weld the spiders and side gears, you get the same results and welding is a lot cheaper

I'll actually answer your question. Yes, there are mini-spools available for the 14bff. The only reputable one I have heard of is from Ouverson Engineering ($198).

I've never heard of anybody breaking a 14 bolt carrier, I'd run a mini spool without concern
