Have a few different questions regarding disc brake lines for the 14 bolt rear.

1. Does anyone have pics of their rear brake lines with disc brakes that they can post?

2. What size tubing does the rear need? I was planning on using 1/4" tubing.

3. What is everyone using to replace the factory rubber hose/tee?

4. And also what length should I extend it to? (I will be using a 4" lift on 37's)

Here is the soft line coming into the T

Here is a shot of the general layout at the pumpkin

This shows a little of the soft line to the calipers

In this one you can see the tabs I welded to hold the ends of the soft line on the axle tube

Funny you should ask, I just finished mine last weekend. I used the original 3/16 tubing. They fit right to the hoses for the caddy calipers. I just cut out my own tabs and used them. I would have liked to have the locking tab for the flex hose, but I'm pretty confident mine will be ok.

Depends on lift. You can have them custom made from places like zimmer mentioned, but they are readily available. Mine is a pro-comp line that came with front braided lines for 4-6" lifts.

I've seen that page a thousand times, but when I need it I forget about it.............go figure and thanks

I made a detention bracket that bolted to the top of the pumpkin to move the t up higher. Then used the stock hard line and got a hose kit from azkicken 4x. They are closed now but looking at the ord kit it is basically the same thing.

Look at this website for Stainless Braided lines. http://www.tsmmfg.com/flexiblebrakehos.html These prices are half of what 76zimmer paid.

1/2 Scott?

I paid that $118 for 5 custom 24" stainless and protective coated DOT approved hoses and a bracket...looks like the others are 125/pr for the 25" ones???
Am I reading that wrong or what?

Oh, I thought your receipt was for only the two short braided hoses from the calipers to the hard line.

I remember those guys , oh wait I was one of them.

I ended up going to the same place we sourced our hoses from. Got two 12" coated braided lines and one 18" line with a tee for 105 bucks. And I ended up welding (if you can call what I did welding ) brackets on the backside of the perches. Going outside to attempt to bend done tubing now. Ill post pics of the finished produck

Yeah, that's what amazed me! I still think it was a great deal!

My setup is a 24" line from the frame crossmember to the top of the axle truss bar, then Tee'd with a flex line to each caliper...no hard lines on the axle.
