14 bolt question gear ratios

Ok i don't have time to search. I have a 97 chevy 3/4 ton with a full floater with 4.10 and gov bomb. This axle blew up on me today. I have a 95 14 bolt full floater with a 3.72 in it will the carrier from that one work with my 4.10 ring and pinion ? also how can i tell what the carrier is on the new axle? Thanks Denny

yes the carriers will work with the gears. As to what weather its a gov bomb or open look at the cross pin holes, gov bomb = 3 open =4
