I'm going to a pick-n-pull to get a 14 bolt 10.5 ring gear with 4.56 to replace my 9.5 ring gear with 3.73 in my K2500 Suburban. The question is, how will I be able to tell from the outside what the gear ratio is? I know that a sticker in a glove box or door will say, but the truck my not have those parts anymore. Please help  , thanks!

It may say in the glove box. Other then that I would say look for a truck with an inline 6 cylinder as most 6cyl, 3/4 ton and 1 ton's had 4.56's. Drop the cover and count teeth is the best method though.

I'd recomend not using black color in your posts. Anyone using the "Nightvision" skin can't read it without hi-lighting...
