Here is the deal..... I robbed a 14 bolt and dana 44 from a 76 chevy 3/4 ton truck. The combo has been in my K5 for a few months now and I have juct took the time today to change the fluids. The 44 still had the tag on it... 50 and 11... my caculations calls that a 4.545454 or a 4.56.... Pretty good score :D The 44 was no suprise, it had normal spider gears, good wear on the gear, no metal in the case.... the tater plow 14 a different story.... no spider gears, but it had this......

My question... is this a gov lock? I am pretty sure it is virgin by the seal that was on the covers front and back. Any ideas?
 
I'm almost positive, but i think all 14 bolts look like that. I believe depending on the number of holes in the side the ring bolts on tells you if its limited or not. >>>ithink.....
 
The ~1" holes around the carrier are the dead giveaway; three of them, which yours looks like, are the Gov-Loc. Four are the open carrier.
