is there anyone that can give me the measurements for the perches on the rear end of an 88 k-5 blazer? im converting it to a 14 bolt GM full floater, which i just got for free, but the guy that gave it to me cut and rewelded the perches to fit a jeep, for width of frame and angle of the driveshaft.. i was wondering if anyone had the correct k-5 measurements and angles.
thanks.

Spring perch spacing is 42.5" center to center. Pinion angle is for you to determine since every kind of lift will be different.

especially nice since he is not a registered user either which means he shouldnt be able to search like me and all the other bums

ive got this crazy idea and it might be the jager talkin but im thinkin just like dane cook......... google that sh*t

The search feature is nice BUT, talking from experience, there have many times I couldn't find the posts that I found during an earlier search

Most find this site from Google.

.

well all the info he was asking ive found on searches and im not a member so ive started gettin tired of seeing the same question and now ive got my ducks in a row

Is it really that hard to answer a simple question that you know the answer too? He is new and maybe he hasn't made his way around this site yet or found out that a search can be done.

Let's not turn this thread into another bash on people asking questions that haven't paided for the site and go on with arguments for 8 pages. Think of it this way, he's asking for a test drive before he buy's the car.

definately did not intend to cause any drama, nor was i even aware that i wasn't a "registered user." i simply just didn't want to do my first big project half-assed if i could easily find the info online. i got the url for ck5.com from a friend that has been using the site for similar info (actually got the measurements for a 14 bolt rear for a 71 from this site) and told me that i could get it quick. to the one person that i saw that posted the actual measurements, thanks a bunch. everyone else that wants to be a loser and tell me to "google that sh*t," thanks a bunch as well. im a member of other sites, and although the information on this one is abundant, your negative feedback let me come to the conclusion that i wont be supporting this one, unfortunately.

Nick, it was i who gave you the info you asked for. I don't understand why some of the people around here can't just answer a simple question without giving a hard time about doing a search. In my opinion if they have time to post anything to the thread it should be the answer and not some lame ass response. Hope you change your mind about becoming a paid member, the benefits outway the rude people on here.

Nick - enjoy the site... If you can't find an answer, post up the question. There are tons of very knowledgeable people on this site that have no problems answering questions.
