Alright, here's what I think I need to do.

I got spring perches of of the 14 bolt. Prep the surface and then with everything bolted up under the truck, adjust the pinion angle to mirror the yoke of the transfercase. So that the universals on each end of the drive shaft are running the same angle.

Then I weld the spring plates in place.

Yes / No Any corrections or changes?

CV rear shaft or not? Also sometimes lower the pinion angle at static a degree or 2 that way wo compensate for axle wrap.

When I did mine I left a little down angle so when you hit the gas hard and the pinion goes up, all is still good. I found a good article I think on Pirate about setting pinion angle when I did my 14 bolt for my K5.

Probably not a CV shaft, probably. I don't wanna bugger it up and then have to get one...

a couple of degrees nose down makes sense.

Thanks for the help!
