OK, I searched and searched, used the "" and *, but couldn't find anything.
On to the question: is there a 14 bolt FF or SF that bolts directly into 82 and up Blazers? Or will I have to move the leaf spring/shock perches? Will I have to buy one that came off a Blazer for it to fit? Thanks!

Buy one from a 3/4 ton truck and you'll be golden except for the u-joint. Just don't forget that you'll now be 8 lug. :p:

the spring perch widths on 3/4 and 1/2 tons are the same- also there's a u-joint that uses big caps on one half and small on the other so you don't need new yokes even, just put that new joint in

Thanks guys, one other question, did all 3/4 ton trucks come with 14 bolt rears in this era? Didn't some of them have 12 bolts? :dunno:

So 1/2 tons came with 12 bolt and 10 bolt rears? Now I'm thoroughly (sp?) confused. Oh well, back to the question, which model 3/4 ton truck came with 14 bolts?

Different years and combos of 1/2 tons came with 10 and 12 bolts, 3/4 ton vehicles all had 14 bolts. There are a few that came with 14 bolt semi-floaters but I haven't seen very many that are pre-88. Just look for the big dumb trapezoid diff cover and you'll be fine.

Thanks for all the answers! I feel like I learned something today, even though I'm home sick from school! :D

also keep in mind- when you find a 14 bolt full float (identifiable by the hubs sticking through the wheel holes with bolts in it), that's good, it's also the same rearend in one tons. So, one tons came with 14 bolt full floats rear/ Dana 60 fronts for the most part, narrow spring perch width

3/4 ton is mostly 14 bolt full float rear with 10.5" ring gear (some had semi floaters with 9.5" ring gear, don't bother with those if you're swapping), and D44 or 10 bolt big u-joint fronts, both with same spring perch widths as the 1/2 tons

1/2 tons were 12 bolts semi float, later ones 10 bolt rears, D44 or 10 bolt small u-joint front
