14 bolt welding tech??

Anyone weld their 14 bolt like in the tech article in this site?Any problems ,complaints,dislikes?im a little curious as to the strength of weld filling the gear teeth,seems like it wouold put wierd stresses on everything as opposed to welding it all up solid.Ive got to weld mine asap and would like anyones input!

Mines been welded up like the tech article for the last 15 months. It's my daily driver/weekend wheeler and hasn't given me any trouble.

I'll talk to my boss about the diff welding anyways...he'll prolly have no problem with it. At any rate I still have a key and alarm code to the place./forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I know a demo derby guy that have used that method for years
he pulls his welded spiders/side gears out and reuses them on the next car
