14 Bolt with a Detroit

A guy I know has a 14 bolt full floater rear end that was in his "Crosley-bodied mud race truck" (I'm not sure exactly how to refer to it).

Anyway, it has 4.10 gears and a Detroit locker. He said he'd sell me the rear end for $400 if he put the original brake drums back on it. Right now, it has a dual-caliper disc brake setup on it. I didnt get a quote for it with the disc brakes.

Is $400 a good price?
