Ok so someone has offred me a 14 bolt for 75 bucks hs not sure of the gears in it. He does know it off of an 80s chevy pickup would this 14 bolt bolt right up to my 88 Blazer?

I just sent him an email to find out if its a FF or SF hopefully he replys soon.

if it is out of a 3/4 ton then everything will bolt up except the driveshaft. you will need a conversion u-joint. if it is 1 ton then the spring perches are off.

$75.00 is an excellent price for a 14ff, hell even if it was a 14sf still a good price. It could be either a 14ff or a 14sf in 3/4 ton truck.

Im guessing its a sf, but it could be ff. Easier to get rims then it is to try and make it 6 lug.

it is easy to tell the difference. a full float will have 6 bolts in the hub holding the axleshaft in. swapping the front to 8 lug is not that hard. everything from the balljoints out are interchangeable.
