140 amp alternator

i have an 87 k5 blazer and a friend of mine came across a powermaster 140 amp 1 wire alternator that would fit into my blazer, he is gonna get me a good deal on it but do you think its worth it going with a 140 amp alternator, i dont have a crazy stereo or anything if that helps.

Yes! I have the Powermaster 140 amp and am glad I finally did it! If you ever put on more lights, winches, stereo systems, etc (like I have), you will be glad you have the extra power!!

It's an upgrade for future upgrades. Go for it. You might want to upgrade the wiring to accomadate the increase in amps.
