Is there a such thing? I would like to put one on the front output of my np205 to make the ultimate square dshaft but I'm coming to the conclusion that they dont make em'. The only place that i found is HERE , but i dont know if it's just a typo.

I've got a buddy that just went 1410 on everything, including the front of his 205... He got his used from a local guy... Not sure where to pick one up, but I've seen one... It looks huge...

I'm running 1350 on everything right now, but I'm gonna start collecting stuff to go 1410...

Search around for a 32 spline front output shaft. Then order a 1410 yoke for it. Thats what I did. Paid $50 for the output and $100 for the yoke. 32 spline front outputs can be found on all ford 205s

I didn't find any 30 spline 1410's when I was looking. And now I have 32 spline/1410 everything.

darn who has a 32 spline front for sale in the box ready to go ?:confused::rolleyes:

why not check the sale section for my screen name. :D http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=268786

and there is a big size diffrence in the 30-32 spline. i wouldnt put a 1410 on a 30 spline at all. way to small if you ask me.

and the tech section has my write up on 4l80-e to 203 to 205 with tons of pics and includes a 32 spline front upgrade. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253000

PM'ed you, lets talk :D

:doah:

1.034" 10 spline front output shaft minor diameter
1.204" 30 spline front output shaft minor diameter
1.257" 32 spline front output shaft minor diameter

4 wheel off road says the 32 spline is 1.4" but from their pictures i dont see how that could be right. Link

The major spline diameter of the 32 spline shaft is 1.375", the bearing area diameter is 1.377". They break between the splines and bearing where the shaft necks down to 1.257". No part of the shaft is 1.401" that is bad info on their part.

To answer the original question, no one makes a 30 spline 1410 yoke. You need to swap in a 32 spline front shaft which is really easy to do.

Cool, I appreciate the explanation.

Good info, but realize that the minor diameter of even the small 205 front output is about the same size as a half ton axle shaft and the axle shafts will see 4-5 times more torque than the t-case output.

Short and simple, even a 14 bolt shaft should break before the little front output on a 205. Not much sense in upgrading to a 32 spline front output for strength.

However, as mentioned, the big draw of the 32 spline output is that it uses the same yoke as the rear and you can get basically any yoke (and u-joint size) you want with the 32 spline stuff.

I have seen alot more broken 10 spline front outputs and 32 spline rear outputs then broken 14 bolt axleshafts. One factor in the t-case shaft breakage is driveline yokes binding which will easily break the shafts.
