Wondering how much 1410 yokes and joints are going to cost me. I want to run all 4 joints with 1410s. Both tcase joints(no CVs here), and the D60 and 14 bolt. Anyone know a place I can get these yokes and how much?
I got mine from Jess at High Angle. Don't remember what each one cost, they vary depending on where they go, and seems he had Spicer up the cost on him right after I bought. Give him a call.
However, one thing to note, the only way to put a 1410 on a 205 front output is to swap in a 32 spline Ford front output. And I think that is the only case you can run a 1410 on the front, at least it's the only one I know of. If you still run the 208 you may be out of luck without a custom machined yoke. $$$$$
In that sense I kinda screwed myself by going 1410 at the pinion end of my front driveshaft. It is the only joint in the whole truck that is not a 1350.
I guess it doesn't matter as they all use the same size cap, but if I want to carry spares I have to carry both 1350 and 1410 joints.
I guess it beats having to keep Saginaw S44s and 1310s in the glovebox though. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
thanks for the info Tim
I would really like to find the source of the ones HAD uses as the donor for their u bolt one
I heard a reference that infering it wasnt an AAM piece and the AAM piece is not a good part, but cannot find the thread where that was mentioned now that I want/need the part
