1410 joints and yokes, where to get?

not I
just assuming that the part prior to additional machining labour added to cost will be cheaper then after
straps work for me but I buy them in a Spicer box usually not generic stuff

My 14FF 1410 is a Spicer Unit. That's all I can tell you...

that is volumes of good info in one line.

thanks BD

The description on page 18 is what I got my 1410 yoke from . The box I had mine in had a part number of "3-4-5711X" -- I might have put it in the wrong box or the part number may have been supperceded by that one ????
Reguardless I found it by looking at the 1988 to 1999 GM Cab & Chassis body style trucks .

Ben - I think that you are correct . Every Dodge / International / Ford 205 that I have opened up has had a front 32 spline shaft .

I am betting this is a d60/70 1410 yoke

tarussel,
did you also put a 1410 on your 60?
that pn seems to point at the 29 spline 60/70

That's the hardest part about this whole thing.

Nobody that is in the business is going to give up their part numbers.

m j,

How did all that stuff I sent you work out?

I recieved everything in good order, thank you very much.
I still havent had an opportunity to rebuild the front axle on my truck using the parts you sent.
My brothers projects and the race team have absorbed all my after work time.
The Death Wobble is getting scary /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I can stuff the parts under it in a couple of hours but I want to grind everything smooth for priming and paint
so I need a full weekend to do it nice.
I will post some images of the assembly ASAP.
this weekend is the season final for the Race Team so I doubt I will get a chance at it.
with any luck I will get a slow work weekday and get a chance to spend some wrenching time on my toy.

Thanks for the parts Tim.
I am going to post the images I take on the local board as well

Ok, sweet. As long as you got what you wanted that is all that matters. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
