i dont have the new joint in my hand yet but am interested in opinions on drilling the end caps for a small needle type grease fitting from a cv joint. might have to grind a groove in the end of the cross to send the grease out to the rollers, have to see when i pick up the joint.

Why did you post it three times?

Never put a stupid move passed a stupid person.

i certainly had no intentions of that occurring.
i am unable to delete the spawn.
my connection was hanging.
i apologize and have sent an email to the admin hopefuly he/she will correct it.

The 5-332x Spicers have a casted boss w/flat spot on the cross that is neither tapped or drilled out for a grease fitting. I suppose you could drill it out and use a self-tapping grease fitting, perhaps one of those low profile button style grease fittings.
At $50 per u-joint you would think they would be serviceable.

5-188x might work...may knock the lube fitting off if it is a standard style. hmmm
