I saw cowboy parts rear cover.... I already asked him if he had front covers for the 60 ...and he doesnt... I was aware of the differences and that rear 60 covers hit when people try to use them on the front....

I dont see any parts numbers on his cover so i wasnt sure it was the same one as yours

Imay go MAGHYTEC ...which are spendy but are really nice... I found front and rear for 425.... I like the magnets and the dipstick



As to the other post about heating issues
Do 14 bolts heat up... especially when set up right... no... not really...but they do get warm... I like the 3 extra quarts of gear oil magtec has in their design... wouldnt work for off-road...but this is not an off road truck... it is a tow vehicle with off road capability.... the only 4 x 4 it will see is pulling the desert fox out of slippery conditions...
BUT
It does see sustained higher speeds... and that where the rear gets hotter than normal... the extra fluid is cheap insurance... especially after dumping the big bucks into the rear.....

I agree with using Mag-hytec covers for a street driver. I've been trying to get my dad to buy one for his K3500 dually but he just doesn't see the point of shelling out that much dough for one. He's a tightass.

I think along the same lines as you do. For a driver, I would use the Mags. For around my parts where there's no rocks, I would use the ORU covers. If I were to build a crawler, then I would be asking the guys here on this site for some.
