OK guys please don't shoot me for not trying harder to get this answer in a search. I just need a straight, simple(like me LOL) answer. If I bolt a 3/4 ton 14b into my 1/2 ton Suburban what will I have to do to make the brakes function correctly? Change the MC? Prop valve or just bolt it up and go. I will be using 1/2 ton brakes on the front. Will the lines match up? Do I need to use the 3/4 ton ebrake cable? I have access to the whole truck right now so anything I need is there.

I put in a 1 ton 14ff in my 89 burb. It mounted fine lines hooked up fine, I put the 10blt E brake cable back on couse the 14 cable didnt pull enough. They work fine as long as they are adjusted properly. but if you get a lot of lock up, the add an adj prop valve

Try it first. Premature rear lockup on a Burb isn't common - there's plenty weight over the rear end ;)

Thanks guys. I just wanted to get some of these questions answered before I start this little project on the DD Burb.
