14b disc swap, hose numbers?

I use late 70's D44 stock front lines. Check the part #'s thread in the Advances previews forum.

thanks. Also they show two different sizes for front calipers. One with a larger piston, and one with a smaller one. I would think the smaller one would exert more pressure onto the pads for clamping force. What does everyone use? I am at work looking at our supplier lists. The smaller ones are cheaper, but I don't want my wheels dragging. I was looking under 3/4 calipers. I am going to keep my 1/2 calipers up front since they are new.

Ok I figured it out. I am going to run the 84-85 cavalier hoses, shorter with the protective sleeve-10mm bolt- carquest part numbers: SP6139- SP6140. Carquest 3/4 rotors part number: 5523. My blazer is a 79, and to retain the same type caliper I decided to stick with 79 instead of my axle year which is 82. The calipers show the same piston size for all in 79, but in 82 they show different size pistons? I dunno.

The 79 caliper carquest numbers are 18-4222, 18-4123. I hope this helps some others who are tackling this the first time like me and couldn't figure it out.

line size has nothing to do with pressure, only volume. ;)
