what the pro and cons of locker selection on a 14bff i was thinking full spool for ease but a mini due to price but there is the always faithful choice of the detroit any help would be great thanks

I have a detroit , but that is because my rig drives me to the trails and is a DD. If it was for offroad only, then i would spool it.
If you have some money, buy a Detroit. If you dont want a Detroit and are thinking spool, then I would weld the spiders for almost free for the same effect.

Do you have to reset-up the gear with the Detroit on this axle?
You do not have to re-set gears in a 14bff to lock it up with a detroit, spools, or welds..

That and the fact that the Detroit is fairly inexpensive for the 14BFF would seem to make it an easy choice. Thanks for the info.
