I'll be changing out the yoke on my 14 bolt (long story.) Is there a seal or gasket or something that I'll be needing to change? Is it a dealer kind of item or can I get it from Autozone?
I just mark the nut and pinion shaft so I know how much to tighten the yoke nut on, right? ANything else?
TIA

The seal. And yes you can get it at Autozone. Shouldn't be more than 5-10 bucks at the most.

Check the yoke for a groove worn in it by the seal. If it can't be polished out using 1000+ grit sandpapers with a few passes (catches a fingernail when drawn across it), either replace it or get a Spedi-Sleeve (sp?) from NAPA before putting the new seal in. A groove will ruin a new seal prematurely.
