14b spewing oil

Well not quite but its enough to put some gear oil on the back of my tail gate and gas tank.

so what would cause this. The pinion is rotated up I assume that has something to do with it.

I don't have a breather tube (taking care of that today) will that help?

Do I need to drill another vent and t the two vents?

Its a full floater with 4.56 gears and a detroit from a military pickup

Check that you are not loosing it from some other source first. My 14ff is tilted pinion up at 7 degrees, with no problems. But if the breather is plugged or you have a bad seal or gasket, there should be some hint ot where exactly it is coming from. If not, hose it off, fill it up and try again.

Why yes yes it is, but not that extreme I still have all my bolts, it appears to be coming out the breather

Shove the vent line back on it, see if it blows it out of that. If so, you have other problems

Yes, definitely check the vent lines. I don't see how one could think of anything else. Look for cracks or wetness
