I just installed th 14b and had a leak at the wheel. I pulled the hub off and found the someone had punched the wheelbearing surface but they also put one punch mark on the seal surface. Do you think I could fill this in with epoxy and file it smooth to fix the leak? Any other ideas?

Use a speedy sleve on the seal surface. This will be the easiest way to fix this correctly.

I second the speedi-sleeve install. Napa sells them for, if I remeber correcty, $40 or so? I gives the seal a new surface to ride on.

I installed a speedi sleeve on both spindles of my 14B. I'll see if I can dig up the part number for you.

Thomas.

I just found the NAPA part #, it's: 'OIL SEAL P/N# 99282'
