lookin for a 14bff with 4.56 gears. detroit and disc would be nice, but not required. it will be cheaper to find a 14b with 4.56's then regearing the 14b i got, so let me know what you got. thanks

I have a set of 4.56 gears and the carrier you will not have to set the pinion preload because the pinion is still in the pinion support so all you have to adjusted is the backlash of the ring gear with the adjusters on the sides. If interested pm me.

want a complete 4.56 axle. prefer with a detroit, but will take an open one or gov-loc axle if youve got it. asap! thanks

I've got a D70 with 4.56.

John is that the wide D70? I'm looking for the one that is the same width as a front DRW D60.

Muddybuddy, if John has what I need I have what you need. Mine is from an M1008 so 4.56, Detroit, drums. Right now it has no perches on it.

It is almost the same width... just a little narrower, but GM did that with all of their axles for better turning radius.

how much would u want for the 14b if the d70 is the right one? also, i might have a lead to a d70HD dually with 4.56's if youd be interested in a trade?

Kenny, the d60 is ~77" and the D70HD is ~74" IIRC. Does that sound right to you?

Yes, it's got to 4.56s, though. Even better if it has a Detroit.

That sounds about right... but I could just run out to my driveway and measure the axle I have sitting under my truck ready to go in too.

73.5"
