14bff bearing retainer nut question?

First 14 bolt work I've ever done and I didn't take this thing apart, but I'm trying to put it back together. I copied the following pics from the 14 bolt bible over at pirate and my question is this. Is it

A. 2 slim spindle nuts, flat washer, lock washer?

or

B. Large spindle nut, square key, snap ring?

or A and B.

I've got 1 set of each in the coffee can of parts with this thing. So either I'm missing parts, or somebody before was missing parts and made a hybrid axle.

Your pics are not working, but it sounds like you have both styles of spindle locks.
Either style will work fine .

Older style is the 2 thin nuts with the locking washer

The newer style is the 1 thick nut with the square key & the snap ring(more of a retainer than a snap ring)
